  • Are due to enter Australia to migrate,study or work.
  • Plan to arrive in Australia within the next 12 months.
  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Are not travelling on a Working Holiday Visa

  • Your passport number and expiry date.
  • Your e-mail address which we will use to communicate with you through the Migrant Banking process.
  • To know your planned arrival date and city. 

This application form takes less than 10 minutes to complete. 

 

Please ensure that funds are only deposited to your new account once your Australian Visa has been granted.

The consent you are giving will not change any specific product or service consent that you have given or will give in the future (for example, for a loyalty program or online direct marketing).

Register for Internet Banking Access

We can register you for read only access to Internet Banking. This will allow you the ability to view your accounts however, until your accounts are fully activated in Australia, you won't be able to transfer funds between accounts, pay people and organisations or order new cards and cheque books. Please note that some overseas Mobile Service Providers will not allow an SMS to be received from Australia, including the AT&T Network, if this occurs you can contact the Migrant Banking Team for an account balance prior to your arrival.


Please note that Read Only Internet Banking will only be available for the primary applicant. Internet Banking access can be granted to both parties on arrival in to Australia.

The final step of the registration process involves sending a secure text message to your mobile phone so it is important that you check your number above as mistakes will delay your registration process.

You will receive separate notification of how to complete your registration 2 business days after you receive your account confirmation letter.

Please note that we have had instances with UK Mobile Phone providers that block the internet banking SMS. If you have not received your Internet Banking SMS text within 24 hours of receiving your account details please contact the Migrant Banking team on the details contained within your welcome letter.
